Heather Mitts biography
Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, Heather first touched a soccer ball at age 6 and was instantly hooked. On an athletic scholarship, she attended the University of Florida where she became the Gator's all-time record holder in appearances, starts, and minutes played. Heather helped bring the Gators to their first-ever NCAA Women's Soccer Championship. In 1999, Heather was named a first-team All-American. After college, she launched herself into professional soccer with huge success, playing with the Philadelphia Charge, Boston Breakers, and Philadelphia Independence of the Women's Professional Soccer (WPS) league. She is a member of the United States Women's National Soccer Team and has won 2 gold medals with the US Olympic team. Off the field, Heather is a Sports Illustrated swimsuit model and was recently voted ESPN's "Hottest Female Athlete." Beyond her incredible athleticism and beauty, Heather's dedication and love for the game exemplifies what it means to be a member of Team Force Factor.
